My art is a face that has facial features symmetrical and the head not symmetrical. I thought this was a good way of distinguishing the two. I used a pattern on the face for the colors and then different collars for the facial features.

I first started out by sketching what I wanted my face to look like. Next It was on the cardboard. First I started cutting individual pieces out then attaching them to the main cardboard piece. Next I Painted everything and to top it off I shaded the outside pieces with colored pencil to make it pop.

My Goal for this was pretty low; it was just to make it actually look recognizable as a face; which I was able to accomplish. I wanted to get a neat pattern all flowing in a similar way which I think turned out pretty well with the main piece of cardboard.

Overall I think that this project turned out much better than I expected it to be. If I were to do this project again I would use different colors and make the facial features not symmetrical as I think it would have been a little neater with different ones.
